My speedometer goes crazy anytime I drive. Its driving my miles up considerably. I can be at a light and it says I'm doing 30 mph. Thoughts??

Inspect and test the vehicle speed sensor-

Vehicle Speed (Distance) Sensor

2WD On left side of transmission tail shaft housing.
4WD On left side of transfer case

Additionally could be the speedometer head assy itself-investigate
