Press on the clutch and can't get the truck in hear. Shut it off and can put in any gear. Turn it on and it will go but clutch doesn't disengage. Pulled the slave cylinder out and found out the clutch fork moves up and down (cab to floor). Slave works fine had a friend push in the clutch and it pushed the rod up. So what is going on? Is it a bushing or bearing?

sounds like the clutch is bad, like you pushed the release bearing through the pressure plate if hydraulics are working ok.

Pulled the transmission and the release bearing was on the shaft. Turns out brand new clutch and pressure plate looked fine. Bought a new slave and still does it. My pedal isn't hard to push until about 3 inches away from the floor.

then you probably have a bad master cylinder for the clutch or there is air in the system. try bleeding it . It shold pump up make sure the master is fullespecially after two bleeds
