1993 Chrysler New Yorker '93 new yorker can't turn left

I've had my 1993 Chrysler new yorker for about 2 years now and the problem is getting worse. A couple things are going on and I'm not sure that they're all connected... first my car is almost chugging sometimes and usually worse after I turn left but sometimes for no reason. Also, if there isnt at least a half tank of gas in my car and I turn left I have to let off the gas, straighten out and then can continue to drive but if I keep on the gas my car will lock up and I can't brake or go forward. And recently my car has been over heating after maybe 20 minutes of driving. I have had mechanics look at my car and have had the spark plugs replaced, always have coolant, ect.

Start by checking for diagnostic fault codes. Next, it may be necessary to drive the car with a scanner connected to see what the Engine Computer is seeing. Most scanners have a record feature that allows a few seconds of sensor data to be recorded. It can be played back slowly later to see what took place. The fuel supply system is not monitored, so if nothing shows up on the scanner, you might suspect the fuel system.

It's important to understand that nothing related to the engine will cause you to lose the brakes. You may lose the power assist if the engine stalls, but that just means you have to push harder on the pedal.

What do you mean by "locks up"? Do you mean you press the accelerator pedal but the engine doesn't speed up? Or it stalls completely and you have to shift to neutral and restart the engine?

What is taking place when the engine overheats? Are you stopped in traffic or driving at highway speeds? Does the radiator fan turn on?
