my cruise control was cutting out the engine

I have replaced the fuse and it seems to be running fine now, is it ok to drive my car???? a few days ago my cruise control light would pop on and the engine would cut out , i wen throw and replaced one 5 amp fuse , and unplugged and plugged back in the cruise control fuse, i took it for a short test drive and it seems to be running fine now, is it ok now??
