i come to a stop the idle jumps to 2000 rpm

I have a 1993 chevy g30 5.7 it starts and drive but when i come to a stop the idle jumps to 2000 rpm an when i press the gas to go the van shuts off will start back up if i floor it and it start and does the samething when i stop again

check for vacuum leaks. check the throttle body for carbon build up.

check fuel pressure. start there

changed fuel pump and fuel lines and vacuum lines, cap, rotor, wires plugs, coil,sprayed carb cleaner around vacuum line no change and inside tbi

it may have a bad idle air control valve in the throttle body.

question for you can that go bad the idle air control valve and the engine light don't come on
