missing 2nd gear?

150 MILES • 6 CYL • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

I have a 93 chevy van, this morning I take off seems ok till I get to 15 miles per hr, auto matic transmission 4l80E starts winning out for 10 seconds more then it should, and then slaps itself into drive with force. How can I resolve this?

This sounds like the transmission went, but if you want you can try to change the transmission filter and fluid and put Lucas fix in to

I JUST HAD IT PUT IN 9 MONTHS AGO, I KNOW IT CAN BE FIXED WITH THE SCAN TOOL JUST NOT SURE WHICH ONE TO BUY AND HOW TO GO FROM THERE.

The scan tool wont fix it it will tell you the problem, because my brother just had a transmission put in the first went completely then we got another and now the transmission doesn't seem like it switches gears.
