speedometer and Odometer has just quit on me

My 93 Cavalier's - What do you think I may need to replace in order to correct the issue?

The other day the speedometer would bounce up and down and then it would quit. Then it would start back up and quit. Now it wont work at all. At the same time I noticed the odometer had stopped all at the same time.

If you have the mechanical gauge, the speedometer cable, or the gear at the transaxle end needs replacing. If its digital, the speed sensor or gauge needs replacing.
