Why do my headlights turn on randomly after the car is off and the headlights have been turned off?

After I park the car, I turn the headlights off and shut the car off. After it has been parked for awhile the headlights will turn back on by themselves and stay on until the battery dies. You also have to push the headlight button slowly or only the gauge lights will turn off and the headlights will stay on.

Hello,

This sounds like you have a lamp control module that is not working right. Here is a wiring diagrams and the location of the lamp control module so you can confirm the issue.

See where you are loosing power.
