I am having trouble with my central locking system on my 1992 Volvo 940GL.
The doors lock and unlock fine, but the trunk will not open anymore without using the key.
How can I fix this, and where would I locate the probable cause on the vehicle?

Mine has a jam every three or four years. Plenty of 'make it loose juice' (WD40 or silicone spray) in the lock itself and locking mechanism works for me. I'm assuming you've checked the relay/motor.
