1992 Toyota Other clunking sound under braking

Front Rotors resurfaced, schemed, new front brake pads replaced, new lower and upper ball joints replaced, new shocks replaced, new wishbone and control arm bushes replaced, new stabilizer links replaced.
Rack ends, Tie rod ends okay.

No pulsing when braking, however clunking sound when braking. Braking from higher speed, more clucking sound and low when braking at reduced speed.

What could cause clucking sound? Model of vehicle is Chaser JZX90.

Is this a single or twin piston caliper and are the pads loose in the caliper housing?

It is a twin piston caliper and pads are loose in caliper housing.

There should be anti rattle clips to hold the pads firm, they may be broken or missing.

Many thanks mhpautos for reply. I'll ensure my mechanic checks this out, and will give you feed back.
Funny enough, putting back old brake pads, sound disappears. Others suggested I modify new brake pads
reducing thickness somehow??

Never alter brake pads, only use quality pads and chek antli rattle clips
