1992 Ply Voyager rear wiper delays half way thru each sweep of the wiper

enter your question...This is in response to the answer I got for my 1992 Plymouth Voyager rear wiper problems. the answer I got was the wiper arm is out of adjustment---but I didn't even have the wiper arm installed, so it was just the motor shaft knurled end.

Hi spain. I saw your earlier post and was thinking about it. The only thing I can think of is there must be a broken power wire between the hinges of the lift gate. The control module is in the lower right corner near that speaker. There should be two power wires, one only gets a momentary pulse of voltage to get he motor started, and the second one is hot all the time the ignition switch is on. That's the "park" circuit. It keeps the motor running until it reaches the park position.

If you go right to the motor connector, you should find 12 volts on the brown / light green wire only when the delay module pulses it to take a swipe. You should have 12 volts on the brown / pink wire whenever the ignition switch is in the "run" position. Use a test light or inexpensive digital voltmeter to test those wires.
