I replaced the water pump and took out the thermostat but it's still overheating What could it be

The thermostat should not be removed. In many cases, it causes the coolant too flow too fast. That doesn't allow it to cool off in the radiator.

Make sure the radiator is clean and not needing flushed. make sure there are no restrictions in the exhaust system and the timing is correct.
