my stereo deck screen shut off

Hi, so I drove my car today (only for about 10 min) and then my stereo deck screen shut off but was still lit up so I thought it was weird and I would shut my car off and start it again. But it wouldn't start! It wouldnt try and turn over it just made 2 s I recently had a valve cap cover replaced along with a water hose not sure if that helps. It can't be anything the stereo deck is causing because I've had it in there for about 2 years now, also I got a new batterie last year with 8 year quality so the batterie is still good
