Hood not closing

Just installed newer engine into 1992 nissan 300zx and manifold is not lining up and the engine is a little too high that the hood will not close. Any suggestions?

No. Same type of engine, just with less miles. Ordered it from a place in south California. Ordered specifically for this car with no extra modifications.

Use old engine mounts? or ones came with engine? mounts are oil filled was 4 bolts holding cover removed?

The ones that came with the engine. I also used the brackets that came with the engine. Is it possible the brackets are different on different zx's. Could that be why it is lifted more than on my original engine.

yes mounts are different compare to original

I'm going to put on the brackets from the original engine on Saturday. I will leave an update then. Thanks!
