I have a 1992 3000gt and it runs great..it loses fire, dies, and wont crank up until it wants too, usually a few minutes, then it will fire on all 6. Sometimes it will run days befor it does it again, usually just 20-30 minutes an it cuts back off, with no spark. What could be the MOST LIKELY cause?

Such symptoms usualy indicates a faulty ECU. Remove the ECU and take off the cover to inspect the circuit board. If you see signs of leaking capacitors, that would be the cause of it.

Looks can be deceiving as this is not a normal fault due to damage. It could be due to bad soldered joints. Look carefully at soldered joints and if you any that might look like the solder is cracked, try resoldering them and retest.
