why dose my car keep idling so fast already ck the chock and it gets hot

it is idling real fast when i start and while im driving it and when i come tyo a stop it wants to take off by itself i dont have to press the gqs and it starts going once oi let go of the break

Have you check for a vacuum leak yet? I would also remove and clean the idle air control valve.

Make sure the coolant temp sensor is reading accurately with a scanner if the computer supplies data on that one.
