I HAVE CHANGED BRAKE LIGHTS AND THE SWITH BUT THEY STILL DON'T WORK. THERE IS A SMALL BOX ON THE CLOUM THAT WIRES RUN INTO COULD THIS BE BAD. AND IF SO WHAT IS IT CALLED

best thing to do first is check your fuses. see if any are blown. after check ing the fuses see if the brake light switch is putting power out. then if it is go to the turnk and see if power is going to one of the tailights. iF it isthere then check for a bad ground. the wires that you are refering to is the turnsignal switch, but its' now called amulitfunction switch. the brake lights do go through that so that could be bad as well. but usually if your turn signals work it's not. the box is the secondary junction box and the brake wires don't go through that.
