Both backup lights quit working at the same time. Can't seem to locate fuse. It is not listed on fuse panel on firewall, and all fuses there are good. (I used a tester.) Is there an auxiliary fuse panel elsewhere?

Lets start by turning the key to the run position and see if fuse number 6 has power to both sides of ut.Thats the fuse for your back up lights.

Fuse positions not marked. ALL fuses in place on inside left firewall test as good. Positions marked with function: I E Radio, Dome, etc. NONE marked "Backup."

Is this fuse panel under the hood? (The panel under the dash has a completely different configuration.)

I found & tested all the fuses in the corresponding fuse block. All tested good. I have removed the only circuit breaker from the fuse panel, and it has continuity. What should the ohm reading be?

Performed all tests requested. With key on, transmission in reverse, no power to either side of fuse panel location you indicated.

There is something VERY strange! I removed the circuit breaker from slot 6. (It's the only 1 in the fuse block.) Slot 6 is NOW EMPTY, AND YET MY BACKUP LIGHTS STARTED WORKING.

There is now power to one side of the position, #6 (1 side only.) The backup lights work, BUT THERE IS NOTHING IN THE SLOT TO PROVIDE POWER THROUGH THE CIRCUIT. How can this be?

I had the same issue, just fixed it by checking the mini fuses under hood. I replaced the 15am ignition fuse number 11 on this diagram. My backup lights more work. Thanks
