So I was heading home from work on the freeway. And all of a sudden with no warning my car shuts off. I pulled to side of the free way and called for tow truck. While I was waiting I tried to start my car and it started I was able to drive it again but I still waited for the tow truck to tow me home. When I got home the car started and I drove it around the block with no problems. The next day I went to store got 4blocks away and it shut off on me again. I waited a few min to try and start it but It only acted like it wanted to start but didn't I waited some more and finally it started up again. I got 2 more blocks and it shut off again. Can you help please.

Have the fuel pressure checked. Often when a fuel pump starts going bad it acts this way - runs a while until it overheats and then cuts off - if allowed to cool it can often start working again. It would be great if you could have it checked before it cuts off and then again when it cuts off.
I know this might not be feasible for you, but if you could get a fuel pressure gauge and connect it, then all you'd have to do is look at it when the engine starts (and note the reading) and then look at it again when the engine stalls.
Post the fuel pressure here and we'll continue checking from there..

I want to thank you guys for the reply I appreciate it. I did take my car in to a local shop and as it turns out it was not a fuel prob. The rubber seal in side my distributor broke therefor letting oil in my distributor. It stop the spark and caused my car to die. Again I appreciate the reply from you guys thank you and have a blessed day.
