have the dash cluster checked for being bad and check fuse under dash

OK I replaced the ign/gau fuse and turned the key and the fuse blew

so that means either the gauges have a short in them or there is a short in the power wire. if you disconnect the gauges and the fuse doesn't blow then it's our gauges and they will need tbe rebuilt. if it still blows then check your pin/blk wire as that is the power wire. If you have recently added something to your truck and connected to the pink/blk wire disconnect it and see if the gauges work. if they do you will need another power source for what you have recently connected as it's to much power for that particular fuse. Or it may be any of the things in the pic that are sorting it out so check your courtesy lights as well. that is a heavily loaded circuit and putting a lrger fuse in it will only succeed in burning your harness up.

Thank you very much. It was a short in a wire that runs over the transmission.
