Check your fuses first, also, Your original radio had two lighting wires that aren't used with most aftermarket replacements. One is hooked to the tail lights to tell the display to dim when the head lights are on at night. The other one is hooked to the dash lights to tell the display how much to dim. Those wires need to be sealed so they don't touch anything metal.

Most likely one or two fuses are blown. Remove the radio, replace the fuses, check the operation of the lights, insulate the unused wires, then slide the radio back in. Also, if you twisted any wires and covered them with electrical tape, tear everything out and start over.

Tape will unravel into a gooey mess on a hot day and let wires touch each other or ground. That can easily destroy the output ICs in the radio. All wire splices should be soldered, then sealed with heat-shrink tubing. Be sure no sharp points of wire are sticking up that can poke through the heat-shrink tubing.
