Cause what to turn off? There's a lot of black wires in the truck. What does that wire go to?

You mean the ENGINE will die. And the engine will pick back up if you turn the signals off fast enough? Or do you mean you are able to restart the engine? If you turn off the capital lock and use some punctuation, your description will be easier to understand.

I would start by verifying the correct switch was installed for your truck. There are cases where a part might have extra wires or terminals that are used in different years or models, but that part can also be used in other models if those extra wires are disregarded. That's one possibility for having an extra wire. It's also possible it's the wrong part but the head lights and turn signals should have nothing that would cause the engine to stall.

You might also check if some wires got pinched when the switch was replaced. Also look for wires that are being tugged on by the turn signal lever. That would be more likely and would make sense if someone mis-routed the wires.
