Thoughts on engine control module causing weak or dead fuel injector

I'm having trouble with my 1992 Ford Aerostar Van. And I've discovered the injector on the number one cylinder isn't working. What are your thoughts on the problem being a broken engine control module?

first, check the resistense of the injector. check for 12 volts to one side. then use a noid light to see if the computer is toggling the injector.

if it is, then possible failed computer.

check basics first
