my service engine light does not come on when key is turned on and the light would come when the key is turned on, why doesn't it come on now?

and I've checked fusses and all fusses are good

Chances are the bulb burned out. NOTE: The light shouldn't have stayed on. If it did, have the computer scanned. IT is easy to do and you can do it at home.
