Which Chevy truck do you have? We can send you schematics, but we need to know which truck you have. Chevy makes a few.

Did you buy the Viper system used? If not, where are the instructions?

Yeah I bought it used from my brother and he threw it all away. My truck is a 1992 chevy 1500 with a 5.7 in it. It has power locks but they do not work.

And the door lock schematic for your truck. You'll have to determine why they don't work. Check the lock and unlock relays. Make sure the door solenoids are receiving power to lock and unlock the doors.

There should be, but our reference doesn't list what fuse goes where. There is a relay for the power locks under the left side of the dash, on the brake pedal bracket.
Fuses attached.

Okay so I checked the bracket on the brake pedal but it doesn't have fuses attached to it. Is there anything else on the system I can check before tearing my truck apart.

pull the lock switch out so u know the color wires to look for.open the harness from the inside that goes to the door.find the same 2 wires.test the wires with a test light.to make sure u have the right wires when you lock and unlock the switch.
