The key does not work?

I recently purchased the car and the key does not work on drivers door. The security system shut the car down for three minutes at a time. How do I over ride this?

Contact your local Cadillac dealership, you will need a new key to unlock the door. The door needs to be unlocked by the new key to reset the alarm.
