bad ac compressor

enter your question...will it hurt my car if I drive it with a bad ac compressor?

That depends on what is wrong with the compressor. If the clutch is OK and fully functional, then you can just unplug the compressor and be fine but if there is any problem with the clutch or pulley, then you will have belt problems.
