i have a 1991 toyota pickup 2.4 L 4x2 and a problem occured. When i start it it seems like it hesitates at idle but when im on the road it runs fine. Then i opened the hood and found out the EFI outside it feels hot. I just started the truck for one minute and i feel it its hot. Is there a potential problem and what can i do. Thanks 2carpros.

Clean the idle air control valve and for the heat -remember heat rises-unless one of the electronic device hook on the TB is shorting to ground and causing it to heat which I find it rare to happen-could be an exhaust back pressure heating it up quick during the valve overlap-meaning when both valves are open

Hi it's me again with the problem of my truck. It's still does it on idle, very rough. Seems like its going to die out. And it sometimes hard to start. I have to prime it sometimes. What else could be the problem. Im running out of answers. Thanks.
