The local bone head repair shop changed out my radiator. To do this they told me they had to pull the engine. Long story short and to the point, now when I put the fuse in (to turn the car into FWD instead of AWD) the damn thing wont shift out of first gear. Also I have noticed that when the shifter is put into park, it seems to still be in gear. (turn off the engine and you feel the difference).
I will say that when I looked at the back of the motor, there is a vacuum line disconnected. Looking further I found another on in the same area that seemed like it might fit so I found a coupling and plugged them together.
@#^% I can't sue these guys but It will be my mission in life to screw these guys as much as they have bent me over. So far the total for the radiator replacement is over 3k$. (And the car is all but ruined. AC no longer works, cant turn heat off although climate fan is off, cruise control no longer works, rear defroster, cigarette lighter...%$@# I am so mad.
Any help with the transmission will be much appreciated.

Start with a scan for any set fault codes, let me know if there are any codes and i will see what they are, i wonder how they pulled the engine out first? when the radiator takes about 20 mins to remove and it must be done first.

Ok the codes are 22,33,35,42. I will attempt to repair these as I get time, but I don'think these have anything to do with my problem. What else do you suggest?

does your engine have 2 wiring harness plugs located on the passenger side of the engine? one is brown, the other i believe is blue??? verify they are plugged in tight, and none of the pins are bent.... i cant get over the fact they said they need to pull engine to replace radiator... id report them to any official possible... thats a garage that gives us techs a bad name....
