I was driving my nissan 300zx, and i was slowing down and down shifting into 1st and the shifter kind of popped and started bumping up and down when i tried to drive it. Still kind of works if i hold the shifter up while i drive.. any guesses on what it is? clutch works fine though

Seems to be a transmission or engine mount fault. Have them checked.

Had that exact thing happen at a stop sign. Looked ridiculous Im sure. Continued up the rd n lost connection to the transmission so was throwing it into gear. Talk about a bad day. I am in the progress of replacing the clutch btw. Bled everything and hardly a difference. Master and Slave had been replaced too! Old cars need love
