I want know if I can get a engine or tranny from an altima or some other Nissan because I just bought a shell 240sx hatch 1991 5 speed ka24de no motor or tranny. I want see what cars are interchangeable with the engine and tranny?

We only recommend direct fit parts. When you change things on the newer cars, problems always show up.

If you still want to see what MAY work, contact a salvage yard. They have the cross references needed to tell you.

Sorry I couldn't help more. We end up getting ourselves into trouble when we make such recommendations. There is always a sensor or other component that won't work and then turns on the check engine light and the car then will not pass emissions inspection. That is why we no longer make such recommendations. I hope you understand.
