what is involved to seperate torque convertor so as to remove the engine v6 pajero

At lower end of transmission, just behind the oil pan there is a cover plate. Remove the cover plate and you would see bolts holding the torque converter. Remove the bolts and push torque converter away from engine, further into the transmission bell house and you can remove the engine, leaving the torque converter inside the transmission.
