it will not go in reverse and in neutral it drives. help!!!!

Forward clutch pack siezed. Need rebuild or replacement

what would cause that? and by need a new one or rebuild do you mean the tranny or just the pack?

Cause is 191K miles if fluid not changed then clutches slip and burn up.check fluid it will be black and have odor. so rebuild trans or replace would be options

there was a leak from a hose on the tranny that was fixed but not before it lost 99.9% of its fluid so there is new fluid and i cant tell if it was burnt or not. the trans was also rebuilt in a shop about 2 yrs ago......
