1991 Amigo parking brake

I have a 1991 Amigo, the parking brakes have not been hooked up since we bought it. How do I hook them up? They look too long to work properly on the rear calipers.

What is not hooked up?

I figured it out, whoever replaced the pads the last time didn't install the bracket for the parking brake when they did it. I have to go to the junk yard and find another bracket. Thanks for the reply
