idle air control valve?

enter your question...I have a 91 mustang 5.0 5 spd. The car hesitates and wont idle down. it will stay at about 1500 rpm as i come to a stop and will idle at around 1000rpm at a stop.

yes sounds like a dirty throttle body and or idle air control valve and valve bore, I would clean it all thoroughly first before replacing the valve.
