I'd like to add to my previous question, that my 91 explorer is 4 wheel drive, and that when I bring the car to a stop the vibration/sound that I hear making a few rotations then stopping, sounds like it's coming from the rear of the vehicle.
Thanks for any help.

OK I'll do that ,thank you.
I drove it around trying to get that noise in the back again but couldn't hear it. With the vibration in my body and the sound, I'm starting to think it may be more isolated to the front. So I checked the fluids in the transfer case, and front and rear differentials and they're good. Lifted the truck up and spun the tires and didn't notice any noises. But(and it's a big but), I did notice I could rock the front wheels back and forth a little, more the driver side than the passenger side, and the inside of the tires are wearing, U-joints, or more?
