Most likely the fuse is blown for the tail lights. The dash lights tap off the tail light circuit so they will be dead too. If you do find the fuse is blown, the two main suspects are a chewed-up trailer wiring harness and an aftermarket radio that is wired wrong or has cut-off wires that are touching, especially if they were sealed with electrical tape. That will unravel into a gooey mess on a hot day.

I think you should sell the car! Mine has 4,200 miles. I never drive it in winter and I don't drive it much because it is so comfortable and I don't want to wear it out. I need a new daily driver to replace my '88 Grand Caravan that is rusting apart.

Thank you so much for your input. The engine was rebuilt about 50k miles ago, the odometer was replaced 3 times and the driver's side window control twice! I get 34mpg highway. Yes, it's a rust-bucket but I really like my car! Wish I could find another.

I actually do have another one with a custom grille, but it needs transmission work. At a minimum it needs the leaking pan resealed. Beyond that the previous owner said it needed to be rebuilt, but I never drove it on the road. Where are you located? I'm in the middle of Wisconsin.

Phooey! We're in Ohio. Maybe you can help with another "little" problem. Somehow I jammed the glove box and can't get it open. Can only pry it about 1/4" from the side. I know, I know that's where the fuses are! Help!

The common problem is when the glove box is packed too full of maps and papers, and some get stuck between the latch, it pushes the tab forward and the inside light stays on. I think what may have happened on yours is the latch on top is bent and the hook is catching on the wrong part of the bracket. You may need to push the door up or down while trying to unlatch it. Pushing it in may work too.
