i have a 1991 chevy s10 with a rebuilt tbi 4.3(not vortec) and one day i cranked the motor and i heard an explosion. it was caused by gasoline getting in the crankcase and then it ignited. when i changed the oil i noticed that the oil was REALLY thin almost like water. it bent the valve covers out. for a while now i have noticed that the oil level was getting higher and higher and i didnt even add oil to it. i replaced the valve covers and the oil and now the crankcase is filling up on its own again. do you know whats causing the crankcase to fill with gas?

if it has fuel injection the lines under intake are leaking.
