havpro see if you are getting a signal form VSS it may be a bad dash/speedo

It was the first thing I changed and is not the problem,
the problem is the ecm,
a friend has left me yours to try and with it no problem.

best bet for a diagram is to rent a manual and go from there. It may be antoher module besides the ecm so don't count that out right away. Besides your ecm has what is called a prom inside and it may be that that is screwing up on you. The prom is removable and are no longer available.

The prom used always have to be the same for correct year but with another ecm then it works perfectly.
It is the ecm definitely the problem.

younever get a schematic of the ecm only it's ports . like I said in first reply rent a manual then you can print it out we can't make them large enough for you to read them
