the car starts and runs awhile then stalls. after it sits for sometime it starts and runs 5 or 10 min. then stalls again. putting it into reverse or drive seams to make it act like it starts to miss fire? i can't drive it. it just keeps stalling

How long since over-all tune-up? Are there any applicable trouble codes? You can check mil codes, yourself. Use a jumper wire between the A & B terminals at the datalink connector, turn key just till the dash lites come on, no further. The mil on the dash starts flashing, you count the flash es to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes.
