idles eradic,will stall with up and down idle,no power,hesatation

the truck sat about a year.problem there right away.idle goes up and down.hesatation on takeoff,no power.changed egr valve and map sensor no change.if i take vacume line off map sensor and plug it it runs great .idle is high without vacume line but steady.it also has pleanty of power with vacume line off.do not know what to do next thank you
