car shakes

I have 91 Buick Park Ave 3.8litre and i just replaced the balancing pulley, alternator and plugs with wires gaped correctly. my problem is: when Im at at 65 and the car evens out it starts to shake and even more if I acc. slowly from 65, but if I punch it, it sounds fine, and then shakes when it evens out again. is it the cylinders or a bad piston? I an completely lost and want to know if i should fix it or put a for sale sign on it

is that a 3.8(3800)? does it run smoothly at idle and normal driving? could be an EGR problem.

I had a similar problem with my 2002 Park Ave shaking at 60 plus mph. After new tires, alignment my mechanic did finally find the problem. 2 cracked engine mounts, and rear and front transmission mounts were busted. Something we would never have thought about.
