The engine misfires badly - it will start with accelerator depressed and run only on high revs. It has no power - I can't drive it because of the lack of power. Feels and sounds like the wires are crossed which they can't be as this happened suddenly. I recently had the spark plugs and lead wires replaced as these symptoms occurred periodically for short periods.

What could be the problem?
