1990 volvo wagon 4 cylinder, single overhead cam non turbo. Replaced head and need to set timing belt properly as this is an interference engine. Have #1 and #4 cylinder at TDC with valves both closed. OHC timing mark lines up with mark on timing belt cover. Belt goes over the cam gear, belt tensioner and another gear on the lower part of the engine. My question concerns the lower gear. Are there timing marks on this gear that need to be adjusted with the belt before I fire this engine up? I have turned the engine twice by hand and have no interference that I can determine. Don't want to ruin this engine by cranking it over without first asking. Is there a diagram I can see that shows where all the timing marks are for this engine?

Thanks for the diagram. Looks like I will need to take off the lower belt cover to see the marks. Can I still come back with further questions?

having much difficulty taking off the other belts. managed to remove the alternator completely. can't seem to move the other belts off their respective pulleys or slide the accessories out of the way (loosen them)in order to get the belts off. In addition how do I stop the crank shaft from turning while trying to loosen the center nut off the crank shaft pulley. This seems like a total nightmare just to time the belt correctly. Is there an easier way to get this belt on there correctly?

having difficulty getting the center bolt off of the crankshaft pulley. Is this reverse threaded by any chance? Also, any helpful info would be appreciated as I have broken a screwdriver and a wrench in trying to get it off......

You can use a long ratchet to hold the bolt and start the car but do not let it go. it is enough by half a lap, do not forget to attach the ratchet by putting something under it and good luck.
