fitting a replacement water pump. 1.6 diesel

this looks absolutely simple, slacken alternator bolt remove belt,hoses, unbolt (4?) bolts and replace.
What have I missed, can it really be that simple ?????

never heard of what you describe, we can't find it in our repair manual
