If the timing belt is out by one tooth, the timing light would show the wrong ignition timing. Distributor would be out of position.

When does the hesitation occur?
Is the Malfunction Indicator Light showing?
Was problem there before replacement of timing light?

Seems the timing belt has not been installed correctly. You would need to recheck the markings.

Timing was tore down and checked out ok, and most everything else was checked, but the fuel pressure. Will get to that next week. Throttle or idle sensor was not working, but new one did not stop the hesitation problem. While driving home from shop, the hesitation seemed unnoticeable?! One thing was not plugged in, that was corrected, but forgot what, get back to you on that, sorry! Thanks so much for all the expert advice. Will be clarified next friday,
