It died on the highway without making any noises

That would hint at what the problem is and wouldn't restart . what's the problem? It has spark, and I found good fuel pressure past the fuel filter and all the way up to the throttle body. When I first started working on it the engine turned over but it didn't sound like it was getting any gas.

Also there was no suction at the air intake of the throttle body. I put fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank and carburetor cleaner in the air intake and managed to get it started for ten seconds only by flooring the gas while starting, and it also had suction. When the car tries to start and while it was running it makes a deep rumble that makes me think the timing is screwed up, but the timing chain looks fine as does the sprocket when I look at it while turning the engine over.

Start with a compression test, it sounds like the timing belt went out.
