how to find a reputable mechanic

Pressure test it and find out where the leak is.

The biggest problem i have is being a woman, 3 places and al they say is oh , its going to cost $400. i tell them it's not the compressor. it just run out after 10 days, to me its a leak and they want mto rip me off. living in the metro area getting a honest mechanic is like finding a needle in the hay stack. i don't mind paying well. i just don't want to be scammed. the car has had a noise like a bad belt. i have the car 5 years and every time a get tires or a tune up orr any work, they tell me another story its this and that and your going to break down. well 5 years and it alwalys passes inspection. doing reach i found out mazda maitas make a annoying sound. the car is great and i just want the air fixed and a honest price for parts and labor.i will not take my car and leave it with any body. plus i want to see the useed parts. its a pain being a female.
