how do i repair accelarator cable

you need to get a new cable from the dealer. you will see how it attaches to the gas pedal when you have the new on. the other side is just a clip on the throttle body. the hardest part of the job is getting it out from the firewall. take your time.

how do i get the cable out of the firewall

you may have to break it out if you cannot get to the back of it above the pedal inside. it is only plastic.
