Top radiator hose swelling up and making my 1990 Honda Civic run hot. What do I do?

Check the radiator if its clogged and also if the hose is collasped and also the water pump

I just changed the water pump. How can you tell if the radiator is clogged?

Ensure thermostat is working correctly and system has been bled of air.
